Whole wheat cheesy veg momos.

Craving some steamed momos? but don't want to get refined flour into your stomach? then replace it with atta! believe me it will taste much better than regular momos!

Try it out!



Ingredients required:

  • Whole wheat flour/ atta
  • some oil for cooking stuffing
  • some of your favourite veggies
  • any cheese processed/ cheddar/ mozzarella/  parmesan/ even cream!
  • spice powders ( chilli, coriander, garam masala, pepper and salt) a pinch
  • soy sauce, chilli sauce and vinegar


Let's start the procedure!

step 1: Make the dough by mixing oil and some salt into it.


step 2: Keep the dough aside. meanwhile, take a pan, put some oil, add the veggies, stir fry them. Now add some ginger garlic paste into it.


step 3: Fry for some more time, add the spices and sauces that were mentioned above and cook for some time. Keep it aside.



step 4: Now take the dough, make a ball, press it on roti maker or make a round shape like this,


step 5: put some curry stuffing into it along with some cheese, spread some oil on the edges and make momo shape by twist and turn method.





step 6 : make the rest of them from remaining dough and make them ready for steaming.


step 7: Put them in any steamer and cook them for 15- 20 minutes till you feel the outer layer of momos slightly sticky or transparent. 


Voila! They are ready. Enjoy them with chilli sauce or momo chutney(grind tomatoes, chillies) Keep it authentic / mayonnaise.
