You just need:
You just need:
- Dried or fresh herbs/ condiments: Basil, Oregano, Parsley- 1 spoon each
- Pasta ( Penne/ macaroni/ other)
- garlic powder/ minced garlic
- 4 tomatoes
- Olive oil/ any oil
- butter
- salt
- pepper
- chilli powder/ chilli flakes
- cheese: Mozarella/ cheddar/ processed/ Parmesan/ Vegan Parmesan
Procedures:
RED PASTA SAUCE:
Step 1: Take the tomatoes and heat them in water till they become soft on stove for 10 minutes.
Step 2: Cool them down, discard the water and peel down the skin. Add them to blender and make paste out of them.
Step 3: Now, in a pan, add 1 spoon of oil, add 1 chopped onion and garlic bits. Fry them. Now add the tomato paste and cook till it gets thick. Add the herbs mentioned above and turn off the stove once it gets reduced. Transfer it into an airtight container and store it for future use for pasta, pizza etc
Slightly roast some veggies if you want or omit them
ASSEMBLING:
Step 1: Cook some handful of pasta until it reaches al dente. i.e., till it gets soft and ready to eat.
With a pinch of salt in water for seasoning for 10-15 minutes on medium flame.
Note: There is no necessity to add oil while cooking pasta because when you add sauce, it slides down the pasta without sticking to it. If you feel the pasta sticks to bottom of pan while cooking, add 1 spoon of oil.
Step 2: Strain the water and discard the water.
Step 3: In a pan, add 1 spoon of olive oil/ any oil and add veggies and the sauce that was made before. Cook them for 1 minute. When the oil separates, add cooked/ boiled pasta and stir it for 1 minute till everything gets incorporated.
That's it! Serve it with basil/ parsley/butter/ fresh or dried herbs or cheese powder or eat it like that!
Enjoy!
See ya!
