Hi people! How's everything going? Are you looking for a cool authentic snack? You just have to try this Mumbai special snack. It just needs home ingredients and can be done in just minutes. Get ready to dig in!


You just need these:


  • Besan flour- 2 cups
  • Boiled potatoes- 5
  • Spices ( Jeera, Coriander powder, chilli powder, salt, ginger garlic paste, garam masala)- 1 spoon each
  • Baking soda- 1/2 spoon
  • Bread slices
  • Butter
  • Some oil to deep fry
  • Green chillies
Let's start without much ado:

Step 1: Boil the potatoes.Peel the skin. Mash them and keep aside.





Step 2: In mashed potatoes, add the above spices and make dough. Separate the dough and make balls as shown below.






Step 3: Now, In besan flour, add the spices, salt and baking soda. Mix the batter with some water. It should get the consistency as shown below.






Step 4: Heat the oil in a kadai to fry vadas. Dip the potato balls in batter and fry them in oil like fritters on medium flame.





Step 5: Take them out and fry the chillies too. Sprinkle the chillies with salt and coat them.

Step 6: Now, toast some bread slices/ Pavs in butter.




That's it! 





Serve it with sandwiched bread, Some imli and green chutney. You can sprinkle some chilli powder on bread for extra taste. And add onions, sauces etc. Get creative!😀😁😋
